Hudson Bank of America robber arrested

HUDSON, NY – City of Hudson Police arrested a man in connection with the Bank of America robbery on Thursday.

Police arrested 54-year-old Francisco Fernandez, from Hudson and Queens, on Friday. Surveillance photos of Fernandez were released to the public after the Bank of America located at 561 Warren Street was robbed. Police say Fernandez did not display a weapon and took an undetermined amount of money.

Fernandez is also on parole out of Queens. He was arrested and charged with Robbery 3rd Degree. He was arraigned in Hudson City Court and remanded to the Columbia County jail on no bail.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office, New York State Police, Catskill Police, and other local police agencies assisted in the arrest. Officials are continuing to investigate the incident.
