SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - From 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. the City of Saratoga Springs is celebrating the Fourth of July holiday Wednesday.
The day started off with the 6th annual Firecracker 4-mile run with more than 3,500 participants this year. The race marks the beginning of Saratoga's All American Celebration.
The Firecracker race course through the historic town was flanked by 19 bands and musicians along the way. A vendor village with icey snacks, food and even massages lined the streets as well.
The day ends with a firework show which is scheduled to go off beginning at 9:00 p.m. in Congress Park.
