RENSSELAER, NY – Firefighters battled a blaze that spread to five homes in the City of Rensselaer on Sunday.
Firefighters say when they arrived on Aiken Avenue, two homes were fully engulfed in flames. The fire started in the back porch of 11 Aiken Avenue around 4:00 p.m. It then spread to four adjacent homes.
Two homes are likely to be considered a total loss.
