GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - A woman attempted to escape out of her bedroom window when police in Gloversville showed at her house with two arrest warrants.
The Gloversville Police Department says 21-year-old Taylor Wright, of 39 West Street, has two arrest warrants for Burglary 2nd and Burglary 3rd, both felonies. Police say Wright climbed out of her bedroom window as police entered her residence on Friday.
Police say 22-year-old Amy Johnson, also of 39 West Street, climbed out of the window with Wright. They say Johnson was out on bail for charges related to the same burglaries.
Police were able to locate both Wright and Johnson
hiding in 41 West St
which is a vacant residence.
Wright was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Trespass 2nd, a misdemeanor, as well as the burglaries related to the arrest warrants. She was sent to Fulton County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
Johnson was treated for injuries she sustained while climbing out of the window and arrested on Wednesday for Criminal Trespass 2nd. She has been sent to Fulton County Jail on $1,500 bail or $3,000 bond.
