A false alarm gets a man arrested in Queensbury.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to CR Bard located at 289 Bay Road in Queensbury at around 2 pm for a report of a man displaying a handgun in the parking lot in a threatening manner to a subcontractor that performs janitorial services for CR Bard.

After an extensive search of the area, the suspect was not located and no additional information was obtained in regards to the suspect's whereabouts.

Richard J. Resseque who reported the incident was re-interviewed and members from the Warren County Sheriff's Office determined he fabricated the story and the incident was unfounded.  They then arrested Richard J. Resseque age 43, of 87 Pyramid Pines Estates in Saratoga Springs for a misdemeanor count of Falsely Reporting an Incident in the 3rd degree.  Resseque was released on an Appearance Ticket which is returnable on July 9, 2012 to the Queensbury Town Court.
