VALATIE, N.Y. - New York State Police say the victim of a motorcycle accident in the Village of Valatie Sunday night has succumbed to his injuries.
The victim, 54-year-old John Wrigley, of Hudson, was transported to Albany Medical Center via med-flight after the accident which happened around 9:15 p.m. at the corner of State Route 203 and Rod and Gun Club Road.
Police say Wrigley was travelling westbound on Route 203 and failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, striking a utility pole which was sheared.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Valatie Rescue and Fire.
