Local teen helps young cancer patient

ALBANY, NY – A teen donated a new bike to one boy at the Ronald McDonald House on Monday.

Recently a family event in Clifton Park was held to reach out to local military families. The event was meant for fun, and giveaways were presented to those at the event.

15-year-old Colin Clause won a bike at the event. However when he realized the bike was too small for him, he decided to find someone that could use it. Colin then met Baheer at the Ronald McDonald House.

Baheer is a six-year-old from Afghanistan. Coincidentally, both Colin's father and brother are serving in Afghanistan.

Baheer is diagnosed with Leukemia and there is currently no treatment in Afghanistan for it.

Colin says looking at Baheer's face just made him happy because Baheer was so happy.
