Jason Yarnall, 34, has been missing since May 30th. Police say the investigation has led to him possibly being in the Albany-area.
COLONIE, N.Y. - Police in Colonie are searching for a missing Massachusetts man, and asking for the public's assistance.
The family of 34-year-old Jason Yarnall says he has been missing since May 30th and last spoke to his family on May 5th. He was first reported missing to the Saugus, Massachusetts
Police Department.
His family says he may be depressed and suffering from alcohol and/or
substance abuse issues. Yarnall's ATM card has been used in Colonie, Albany and Guilderland,
but not since May 28th.
Employees of the Comfort Inn on Wolf Road believe
that Yarnall was in their hotel's business area in the middle of May, but was
not a guest and was just using their wireless internet.
Police say Yarnall's vehicle was located in the lot of the Towne Suites on
Washington Avenue Extension where he had stayed. It is believed he left the vehicle because it no longer ran.
Yarnall was originally in this area for a job at Hooter's Restaurant on Wolf Road, but has
not worked there for at least six months. He stayed at several hotels along Wolf Road or in Albany while he was working for Hooter's and
was known to frequent sports bars and businesses providing free wireless
access.
He is described by police as a white male, 5'8'', 155 pounds, short dark brown hair, blue eyes, and may have a goatee or beard.
