BALLSTON SPA, NY – The third annual Pet-A-Palooza was held on Saturday at
Curtis Lumber locations.
Curtis Lumber locations all around upstate New York
hosted Pet-A-Palooza. Hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and horses from
over 80 shelter and rescue groups were featured. The event is the largest
one-day pet adoption in New York State.
Executive Director of Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society Dr. Brad Shear
says, "We're hoping we go home with empty cages, it's always our goal."
In 2011, over 500 animals were adopted in the event. This year Dr. Shear
hopes for even better results.
