TROY, NY – A Troy man was arrested on Monday night for a shooting that occurred in May on Sixth Avenue.
The U.S. Marshal's Violent Felony Fugitive Task Force located and took 18-year-old Daquan Jones, of Congress Street, into custody.
Jones was arrested for a shooting that happened on May 1st in front of 3251 Sixth Avenue. During the incident, a male in his early 20's was shot in the arm. The injuries were non-life threatening.
Jones is charged with Attempted Murder 2nd Degree. He was indicted and sent to Rensselaer County Jail with no bail. His tentative trial date is set for November 26.
