Colonie psychiatrist accused of sexual abuse

COLONIE, NY – A Colonie psychiatrist was arrested on Friday for allegedly engaging in sexual contact with two victims without their consent.

The female victims are both adults and are not patients of the accused 52-year-old Kevin George, of East Schodack. George is a psychiatrist at the Psychopharmacology Consultants of Albany.

George was charged with two counts of Sexual Abuse 3^rd Degree, a Misdemeanor, and two counts of Forcible Touching, a Misdemeanor. He was arraigned in Colonie Justice Court and released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance on June 27, 2012.
