Deceased male found near Gloversville cemetery

GLOVERSVILLE, NY – The Gloversville Police Department is investigating the body of an elderly deceased male found on Sunday.

Police received a report of a body wrapped in a blanket near the cemetery on Thompson Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased elderly male in front of 34 Thompson Avenue.

Police have not released the identification of the body at the time. Autopsy results are pending to help determine what caused the death.
