Path of 18-miles
20 injured, $25 million in damages

GREAT BARRINGTON (Mass.) TORNADO: May 29, 1995
Southern Columbia County to Great Barrington
Winds reached 250 mph
3 killed, 29 injured, $35 million in damages
Debris found 45-miles away

MECHANICVILLE TORNADO: May 31, 1998
Half-a-mile wide
Winds reached 250 mph
68 people injured, $60 million in damages

Took a couple of days for National Weather Service to confirm this as a tornado
About a half-mile wide
Started in Town of Florida, traveled east about 4 miles, crossing through Amsterdam and Cranesville before falling apart around Glenville
On ground for about 10-minutes
Most damage caused in Cranesville
No injuries
