PITTSFIELD, MA – Students at Taconic High School in Pittsfield held an event on Friday for a classmate.

Matt Driscoll, an 11^th grader, was severely injured in a car accident earlier this year. Matt dreams of one day being able to run again.

The event held was called Relay for Recovery and was held at the high school's track.

Matt says he was honored that his classmates put the event together for him.

Participants in the Relay for Recovery donated five dollars to the cause. Sponsors gave a dollar for each lap the students ran.
