SCHENECTADY, NY. - Crews tear down what is left of a Schenectady building after the chief says someone intentionally started it on fire Tuesday.
The fire on Kelton Street is one of three "suspicious" fires Chief Michael DellaRocco says the city has seen in just three days. The fire started around 9:00 p.m. Monday night. The other two happened on Sunday night one on Elder Street, the other on State Street.
DellaRocco says investigators are looking to see if there is any connection between the fires.
Since the beginning of the year, DellaRocco says there have been seven confirmed "arson-like" fires in the city, and that doesn't include the ones that are still under investigation.
