BALLSTON, N.Y. -- A Saratoga Springs woman was arrested Tuesday after authorities say she walked into two Ballston stores completely naked.
Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy III identified the woman as 48-year old Barbara LaFleur, of Lake Avenue.
According to Curtis Lumber owner Jay Curts, LaFleur walked into the store's location on Route 67 on Tuesday and casually spoke with a few employees, asking the time.
Curtis said security was able to get her to leave the store in just a few minutes.
A short time after leaving Curtis Lumber, LaFleur then walked into a Stewart's Shops down the road.
Stewart's spokesperson Tom Mailey said the store's manager asked LaFleur if she knew she wasn't wearing any clothes and tried to determine if she was all right.
Mailey said LaFleur exited the store quickly.
LaFleur was then arrested by Saratoga County Sheriff's Department, according to Murphy, and charged with public lewdness, a Class "B" misdemeanor.
She underwent a mental health evaluation and was released to appear in Ballston Town Court at later date.
