Fulton County Sheriffs investigate string of burglaries

JOHNSTOWN, NY – The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance about several residential burglaries in the county.

Sheriffs say there have been several burglaries to area residences over the past two weeks. Burglars are targeting homes that appear to have no one home. Items reported stolen are electronics, jewelry, firearms, and currency.

The areas that have been targeted include the towns of Caroga, Ephratah, and Oppenheim.

Sheriffs urge residents to secure their property by locking all doors and windows.
