Albany Airport travel information for Tuesday, Obama's visit

ALBANY, N.Y. - Travelers with flights that depart from or arrive at Albany International Airport between 11 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 may encounter delays on access roads at and around the airport during the arrival and departure of Air Force One.

Travelers should consider allowing additional time to reach the airport, park and reach the terminal.

Some flights may encounter short delays during the arrival and departure of Air Force One.

Travelers departing between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. should consider parking in the airport parking garage if space permits or in the long-term parking lot next to the parking garage.

Airport Shuttle Bus Service from E-Lot to the terminal will be delayed for a short time during the arrival and departure of Air Force One.

Traditional points around the airport that are used by the public to view aircraft landings and take offs will be closed Tuesday.
