Saratoga County woman accused of forging $5k check


WILTON, N.Y. - A 22-year-old Saratoga County woman was arrested after troopers say she possessed a forged personal check at an area bank.

An investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office revealed that Nicole Jennings, of 6068 Fishhouse Road in Galway, allegedly possessed the forged check at the SEFCU branch in the town of Wilton on April 7th, and cashed the check for $5,000.

She has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd-degree, a felony. She was arraigned in the Wilton Town Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.
