Bennington police search for Rite Aid thieves

BENNINGTON, VT – Bennington Police are looking for two male suspects involved in two thefts at Rite Aid.

Police say two thefts happened at the Rite Aid located on North Street over a period of four days.

The first theft happened on Tuesday at approximately 12:45 p.m. when the two suspects entered the store through the back doors. They then removed an air conditioner valued at $300 and left through the rear door.

The second theft happened on Friday at approximately 9:50 a.m. Police say two males with similar features from the first theft entered the stores through the back doors. The two suspects removed two air conditioners, valued at $170 each.

One suspect is described as a white, male, balding; about 175 pounds, mustache, possible beard, wears glasses, and was wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, and a zippered hoodie.

The second suspected is described as a white, male, short hair, about 225 pounds, wears glasses, both arms tattooed, he was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.

An employee at the store says the suspects left in a white pickup truck with a New York State registration.

Bennington Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
