Police: 3 teens arrested for damaging homes in Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Saratoga Springs Police Department has arrested three teenagers for allegedly causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to various homes in the city.

John Catone of the Investigation Division says they have arrested 17-year-old Spencer Hellwig, of East Avenue, 17-year-old Jacob Hyland, of Caroline Street, and 16-year-old William Bruder of Nelson Avenue Extension, all from Saratoga Springs, after the alleged incidents occurred between April 12th-13th involving the use of a BB gun and baseball bat.

Each teen is charged with two counts of Criminal Mischief 3rd, a Class E felony, and four counts of Criminal Mischief 4th, a Class A misdemeanor.

The teens were arraigned in Saratoga Springs City Court and released in the custody of their parents.
