WARREN COUNTY, NY - The Warren County Sheriff's Office arrested four people for unrelated drug charges since Friday.
On Friday, sheriffs executed a search warrant at the Lakeview Motel on Canada Street. The investigation involved multiple sales of crack cocaine. Sheriffs arrested Lefonza Carter, 52, a resident at the Lakeview Motel. Carter was arrested and charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor. Carter was held for lack of bail and is currently incarcerated in the Warren County Jail.
On Wednesday, sheriffs arrested a Glens Falls man after executing a search warrant at his Warren Street apartment. The investigation followed multiple sales of crack cocaine. Sheriffs arrested and charged Jamie Thompson, 39, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Misdemeanor, and a Violation of Probation Warrant issued out of the Glens Falls City Court. Thompson is currently incarcerated for lack of bail. Sheriffs say additional charges are pending while the investigation is continuing.
On Thursday, sheriffs arrested two Glens Falls residents following an investigation into multiple sales of heroin. Sheriffs executed a search warrant at 15 Elizabeth Street. John Rapp, 32, and Amanda Wood, 24, both of Elizabeth Street, were arrested. They were both charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the 1st Degree. Arraignment is pending for both.
