ALBANY, N.Y. – Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that an additional $236 million will be spent on accelerated effort to renovate roads and bridges the area. The money will be spent on 272 miles of road and 17 bridges in the Capital Region.
The project slated to receive the most money is the Patroon Island Bridge or the section of I-90 that goes over the Hudson River in Albany. $145 million will go towards re-surfacing the deck and renovating the substructure of the bridge.
