Joseph Webster, of Worcester, has been missing since March 14th
COLONIE, N.Y. - Two people have been arrested in Colonie Wednesday night in connection with a missing Massachusetts man.
According to the Worcester County District Attorney, 19-year-old Joseph Webster, of Worcester, has been missing since March 14th, when he was reported missing by his family.
An investigation has revealed that Webster and the two suspects were together in a room at the Motel 6 on Route 9 in Northborough. Detectives searched the room earlier this week obtaining evidence, determining the suspects were now in Colonie.
On Wednesday, Colonie police arrested 19-year-old James Howze of Providence, Rhode Island, and 22-year-old Lara Corey, of Westborough, Mass. on fugitive from justice charges.
Colonie police found Howze and Corey hiding out at the Econo Lodge on Watervliet-Shaker Road. After Howze was spotted, he ran on foot and was chased down by police. He was caught behind a residence located in Green Acres, behind the motel.
Howze faces charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, a knife, and larceny of a motor vehicle. Corey is charged with larceny of a motor vehicle. Both are facing these charges in Massachusetts.
Webster still remains missing.
The investigation, led by Massachusetts State Police, is continuing.
