Investigation into prescription drug sales leads to arrest of Canajoharie man

CANAJOHARIE, N.Y. - A 5-month-long investigation into the sale of prescription narcotics has led to the arrest of a 52-year-old Canajoharie man.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says they concluded the investigation last Saturday with the arrest of Richard Burke, of 6310 State Highway 10, charging him in connection with the sale of Hydrocodone pills in the town.

Burke was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd-degree and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail.
