
NORTHFIELD, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont pharmacist has been charged with illegally dispensing drugs.
The Vermont attorney general's office says Albert Crease of Northfield is accused of giving narcotics and depressants to a female acquaintance without a prescription while he worked at the Shaw's Osco Pharmacy in Berlin.
Crease was fired from the pharmacy in May 2011 and the state has suspended his license.
Crease was arraigned on Thursday. He was released on conditions that he not buy, have or use regulated drugs without a prescription.
