ALBANY, N.Y. - Wednesday will be the second in a series of events to push for a new bill that would give alleged victims of child sex abuse more time to report that abuse.
On Tuesday, two former ball boys who accuse fired, Syracuse University assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine of molesting them appeared with well known lawyer, Gloria Allred, at the Capitol to lobby for the new law. Fine has not been charged.
Today the bill's sponsor, Assemblywoman Margaret Markey, will hold another press conference at noon at the legislative office building.
