VICTORY, N.Y. -- State Police say three teenagers and a 42-year old woman have been arrested in connection with a beating last week in the Saratoga County town of Victory.
According to Troopers, the incident occurred during the early morning hours at a residence on Gates Avenue. The 20-year old victim suffered a concussion, a fractured eye socket, and lacerations to an eye lid and ear. The victim reported the assault to State Police in Malta the day after.
During their investigation, Troopers arrested 16-year old Brett Knorowski, of Schuylerville, 17-year old Jake Maderic, of Victory Mills, and a juvenile male, who is not being identified due to his age, for allegedly committing the assault.
42-year old Kimberly Nacy, of Victory Mills, was arrested later. Troopers say Nacy was not involved in the actual assault but had some involvement with the incident. She has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, second degree criminal nuisance, also a misdemeanor, and a felony county of tampering with physical evidence.
Knorowski and Maderic have both been charged a count each of second-degree assault, a felony. They were both arraigned in Saratoga Town Court. Maderica was remanded to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail. Knorowski was released to his parents and received probation pre-trial services.
The juvenile male has been charged with second-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was sent to the Albany County Juvenile Secure Detention Facility.
Nacy was also arraigned in Saratoga Town Court and was remanded to county jail in lieu of bail.
Troopers expect more charges to be filed.
