TROY, N.Y. - A Troy man was arraigned Wednesday morning on charges of predatory sexual assault, in one of the worst cases of child sexual abuse Troy Police say they have ever seen.
A two-month investigation led police to arrest 42-year-old Levora Green Tuesday night. Police say Green attacked several victims, all under the age of 18, between June 2010 and December 2011 in different areas around Troy.
Police say Green had inappropriate sexual relations with at least five boys whom they have identified between the ages of 12 and 16-years-old. They say he would lure the victims into his home with alcohol and marijuana before taking advantage of them.
An acquaintance of Green came to police last fall to alert them of the offenses.
Green is charged with Predatory Sexual Assault, a felony. Troy Police Captain John Cooney says the case will likely go to a Grand Jury in Rensselaer County Court.
Troy police say the investigation is continuing, and there may be more victims. Police ask anyone with information to give them a call at 270-4426.
