STUYVESANT, N.Y. - State police have arrested a Stuyvesant man on Tuesday for sending lewd photographs to a minor over a social networking site.
Police say 27-year-old Anthony Link, a Captain with the Stuyvesant Fire Department, was arrested after an investigation revealed he was illegally talking about sexual activities with the female and disseminated lewd photos to her over the course of several months.
Link was charged with one count of Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor, a felony, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of Child, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned in the Town of Greenport Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail without bail.
Stuyvesant Fire District No. 1 released a statement to NEWS10 saying "These are very serious and troubling allegations, and the Stuyvesant Fire Department and Fire District have suspended the member accused of these activities."
