SAND LAKE, N.Y. - The man accused of starting fire to a historic home in the Town of Sand Lake appeared in court Tuesday night.

Christopher Felt faced a judge in Sand Lake Court on Tuesday for charges of Arson 3rd-degree, Arson 4th-degree, Criminal Mischief, Reckless Endangerment, among other charges for the February 12th fire that left a historic home on Route 43 uninhabitable. The judge granted the Assistant District Attorney's request to have the case transferred to Rensselaer County Court.

The judge released Felt to his mother, and ordered him to wear a monitoring bracelet.

Two others were charged in the fire. 18-year-old Rustin D. Atchinson faces the same charges as Felt and 19-year-old Allyson J. Leavenworth faces conspiracy charges. They are both due in Sand Lake Town Court on March 12th.
