SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY - Calling hours for Clarence Dart, a Tuskegee Airman awarded with the Congressional Gold Medal, will be held Monday night at the William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home in Saratoga Springs.
Dart was one of the last living members of the segregated all-black fighter pilot unit, flying 95 combat missions in World War II. The movie "Red Tails" was based on the elite group.
Dart, 91, died last week after a stroke.
His funeral is set for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21 at the Saratoga Springs United Methodist Church on 5th Ave. He will be buried in a family plot at Greenridge Cemetery in the city.
