COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The New York State Crime Stoppers is now offering a $2,500 cash reward for information in a 38-year-old murder of a Cobleskill teen.
17-year-old Kathy Kolodziej was found stabbed to death on Thanksgiving Day 1974 and for the first time, NYS Crimes Stoppers is now for the first time offering a reward for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
The teen was last seen leaving the Vault Bar in the Village of Cobleskill on November 2, 1974. Her body was discovered November 28th in a field adjacent to McDonald Road in the town of Richmondville.
Police are asking anyone for information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-313-TIPS and say all callers may remain anonymous.
