Rotterdam police investigate armed robbery at CVS

ROTTERDAM, NY - Rotterdam police are investigating an armed robbery at CVS on Sunday evening.

The incident happened at 5:44 p.m. at the CVS Pharmacy located at 5 Corners on 3075 Broadway in Rotterdam.

Police say a white male approached the pharmacy counter, displayed a handgun, and demanded drugs. The suspect left the store on foot with an unknown quantity of drugs in the direction of Kenmore Avenue.

The suspect is described as about 50-years-old, 5'10", medium to stocky build with a goatee. He was wearing a dark colored coat, dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, tan gloves, and sunglasses.

No one was injured in the incident.
