ALBANY, NY - Thousands of cheese lovers filled the Wolf Road Marriott on Saturday for the area's 3rd Annual Mac-n-Cheese Bowl.
The event supports the Northeast Regional Food Bank.
Thirty restaurants from across the Capital Region put out their tastiest, cheesiest concoctions in hopes of winning the coveted title of the region's best mac-n-cheese.
Valente's Restaurant of Watervliet won judges choice with their "Perfect Storm", a traditional mac-n-cheese dish with lobster.
Organizers gave out an award for best display, this year going to Lanie's Cafe of Loudonville for their booth.
More than 2,000 people were served up delicious mac-n-cheese and helped raise $35,000 for the food bank.
