Albany community groups meet to improve city

ALBANY, NY - Albany community groups gathered on Saturday to figure out how to be a positive force of change in their city.

DIVAS for Christ teamed up with the Housing Action Working Group of Occupy Albany for a community forum about improving and changing life in the city. City residents and community groups were asked to share their thoughts on issues affecting the city and what positive changes can be made.

Organizers hope to make this session a regular occurrence and involve elected officials in the dialog.
