Lansingburgh school district discusses shift

LANSINGBURGH, NY - The Lansingburgh Central School District will meet Monday night with parents to discuss a plan to shift students.

In December the school board voted unanimously to send pre-k through second grade students to Turnpike Elementary School. While students in grades 3 through 5 would attend Rensselaer Park Elementary School.

The shift is scheduled for September.

Monday's community forum is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Knickerbacker Middle School auditorium.
