QUEENSBURY, NY - A Fort Edward man was arrested for DWI after police say he intentionally slammed his car into a parked car.
Police say 24-year-old Taylor Hatch followed a vehicle into a Queensbury parking lot before slamming into the parked vehicle. Hatch was familiar with the occupants inside the vehicle. He then fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
Hatch was arrested and charged with a felony count of Criminal Mischief and for the misdemeanors of Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Attempted Vehicular Assault in the 2nd degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, and Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd degree. He was arraigned in Queensbury Town Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash, $40,000 jail bond.
