PITTSTOWN, N.Y. - The FBI and the Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office seized 100 hard drives full of child pornography from a Pittstown man's home.
Police say he was in the process of downloading some more when they arrived.
John Kelly had another court appearance Wednesday night in Pittstown, very angrily walking in and out of the town court.
"Ask me a question! Get the ****** light out of my eye, or I'll walk right over your face!" yelled Kelly at News10 reporters.
News10's camera was the only one rolling as he walked into court, verbally attacking and even shoving a photographer. "***** you! Did you get that on the news?" yelled Kelly.
After re-affirming his not-guilty plea in court alongside his public defender, he walked back out.
News10's Taryn Fitsik confronted him. "Do you have anything to say?" asks Fitsik.
"Same thing I said before," responds Kelly. "Get out of my face." Kelly then took off, free on bail until his next court appearance.
He is facing felony charges of possession of child pornography and promoting the sexual performance of a child.
"It's sick," says Helen Paul, Kelly's next door neighbor. "I've got a granddaughter, they've got young children next door too."
Paul says while she doesn't know Kelly personally, she has observed his behavior. "He's never out, he's usually inside."
Both the U.S. Attorney's office and the Rensselaer County Grand Jury will be prosecuting Kelly's case. Rensselaer County Assistant District Attorney Art Glass, says Kelly's next court appearance could be in a couple of weeks.
