
SCHOHARIE, N.Y. - One woman was injured after a fire broke out in a Schoharie home Tuesday morning.
NEWS10 is told paramedics needed to perform CPR on the unidentified female victim who became injured in the fire.
The woman, who is said to be in her late 50's, was then flown by helicopter to a Syracuse hospital. The Schoharie County Sheriff tells NEWS10 that she was accompanied by her son.
The fire started at a home along Route 7. Not much is being released yet on the cause of the fire, only that it appears to have started in the lower rear part of the wood frame home.
