Man arrested after police say he punched daughter in her face

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - Police in Gloversville have arrested a man after he allegedly punched his daughter in her face.

Officers responded to the home of 38-year-old Thomas King at 42 First Avenue in Gloversville Tuesday night and arrested him after an investigation revealed King had grabbed his daughter around the throat and punched her in the nose. Police say King also pushed his mother to the ground.

King is charged with two counts of Attempted Assault, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, all misdemeanors.
