GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - The Gloversville Police Department is investigating a theft of a diamond from a local jeweler.
Police say the theft took place on Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. at which time a man and a woman entered the jewelry store and asked to see loose diamonds. The suspects were then able to switch a 1 carat
diamond valued at $8,000 with a cubic zarconia look alike.
