Two Waterford teens are arrested for stolen pipes

WATERFORD, N.Y. – Two teenage boys have been arrested involving the burglary and theft of building items.

The Town of Waterford Police Department has been conducting a recent investigation on copper pipes that have been stolen from buildings throughout the town of Waterford.

Police Officer Craig Fitfield, through investigation, located and arrested two individuals involved in the burglary and theft of these expensive pipes.

Nicholas A. Torncello, 17, and Jared Rzeszoto, 17, both from Waterford, have been charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree and Petit Larceny.

These defendants were arraigned in Waterford Town Court and are remanded to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of Bail.

The investigation is still on-going and additional arrests and charges are pending.
