Police: Rite Aide employee stole from pharmacy

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - A 20-year-old Gloversville woman is facing multiple charges of Grand Larceny after she was allegedly caught stealing from the Rite Aide pharmacy.

Tiffany Lee Wilson was arrested Tuesday after an investigation by the Gloversville Police Department and Rite Aide loss prevention determined she was stealing customers' co payments for prescriptions, controlled substances from the pharmacy, cash from the register, and on one occasion cash from a customer's purse.

Wilson was employed by Rite Aide at the time of the thefts, which police say started in June 2011 and continued until November 2011.

She is charged with two counts of Grand Larceny 4th-degree, one count of Grand Larceny 3rd-degree, one count of Scheme to defraud, all felonies, as well as Petit Larceny, and Criminal Possession of a controlled substance. She was arraigned in Gloversville City Court and remanded to the Fulton County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail.
