BROOME, N.Y. – Family of five gets displaced after a fire engulfed their home in flames in Broome Thursday morning.
Schoharie Dispatch tells News10 that calls came in at 4am for a 3-alarm structure fire at the address of 720 Keyserkill Road in the town of Broome.
It has been confirmed at this time that all 3 adults and 2 children inhabiting the home during the time of the fire escaped with no injuries.
Livingston, Middleburgh, and Tri Village Fire Departments assisted with the putting out of the fire.
The home is now uninhabitable. The American Red Cross has provided emergency aid to this family with things like comfort kits and financial assistance for food and clothing.
It is still unknown at this time how the fire started.
