TROY, N.Y. - A full jury selection has been made for the trial of two politicans accused of participating in the Troy ballot fraud scandal.
The jurors have been seated for the trial of two Democrats, former Troy City Councilman Michael LoPorto and County Elections Commissioner Edward McDonough. Both men are accused of forging absentee ballots during Troy's 2009 working family's party primary.
On Thursday 12 regular jurors and four alternates were selected. The trial will start Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.
LoPorto and McDonough were indicted on charges of Criminal Possession of Forged Documents last January.
