Police: Two teens arrested for throwing underage party

ALBANY, N.Y. - Two 19-year-old Hudson Valley Community College students were arrested after hosting a party at their home, charging money to get in, and giving alcohol to other minors.

Albany Police Department Spokesman Jimmy Miller says that Christopher Hagen and Nicholas Coppola were arrested early Saturday morning after hosting a party at their apartment at 442 Morris Street.

Police received a call around midnight on Friday complaining about loud noise coming from the address. When police arrived they found a large party of approximately 120 people inside the first floor apartment. They entered the apartment and found a half keg of beer and several cases of beer inside while a DJ was set up playing music for the party.

Police behan checking identifications found that many people there were underage including the two men allegedly hosting the party. They also found Hagen and Coppola were allegedly charging $5 in exchange for beer at the party.

Hagen and Coppola were charged with Selling Alcohol to Minors and Selling Alcohol Beverage.
