GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – Two men were arrested Friday evening after attempting to use a stolen credit card at local pubs in Glens Falls.

Sergeant Arnold of Glens Falls Police tells NEWS10 that a call came in around 8:30 p.m. from the son of the victim whose credit card was stolen and flagrantly being used at a few pubs in Glens Falls.

The victim's son noticed a few transactions being made at The Irish Pub and then shortly after at The Bullpen located on Glenn Street.

When police arrived on scene at the Bullpen, Jason A. Naja, 39, of Moreau, and Philip Lyons, 41, of Lake George, were caught in action attempting to use the stolen card.

Arnold says that the suspects were inquiring a cash advance at each establishment but were denied. However, hundreds of dollars worth of transactions had been made on the card.

Both men are charged with Criminal Possession of Property in the 4th Degree, E Felony, and Forgery in the 2nd Degree, D Felony.

They have been arraigned and sent to Warren County Jail for lack of bail.
