Restaurant fire in Troy mandates two apartment evacuations


TROY, N.Y. – Early restaurant fire mandates residents occupying two apartments to evacuate.

Sergeant Anderson from the Troy Police Department has confirmed with News10 that a two alarm fire call came in early Friday morning at 1:05am.

The location of the fire was at the Flavour Café & Lounge, located at 228 4th Street, at the corner of Washington and Fourth street in Troy.

There were also two apartments located upstairs from the Café, in which all residents were mandated to evacuate by the fire department.

There have been no injuries reported at this time; however, the building remains temporarily uninhabitable.
