Gore Mountain Snow Train returns to North Creek


SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY - The Gore Mountain Snow Train will open on Friday for the first time since 1942.

The Gore Mountain Snow Train is a new, full-service passenger rail train that provides round-trip transportation from Saratoga Springs to North Creek. The shuttle service will run to Gore Mountain every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through March 31.

The two hour train ride will be convenient for skiers. It will have complete ski and snowboard equipment handling and storage, along with a table side breakfast and dinner menu with wine offerings and bar service.

The train departs Saratoga Springs each morning at 7:00 A.M. and arrives in North Creek at 9:15 A.M. Return service departs North Creek at 4:30 P.M. and arrives in Saratoga Springs at 6:45 P.M. Round-trip tickets start at $30 for coach cars and $55 for dome seating.
